TMI Tuesday: July 26, 2016 ~ Say What?

What’s new? Another TMI Tuesday, that’s what! Say What?

1. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
~ I stole street signs and automobiles.

2. When was the last time you had an amazing meal? What was it? Why was it amazing for you?
~ I'm not a 'foodie' so nothing springs to mind. But I do enjoy a good meal, and given my waistline it's fair to say I think most meals are great! Tonight I had a 'Mexican Taco Bowl' which was a pre-prepared meal I'd bought from a gourmet deli at lunchtime. It really was delicious!

3. What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?
~ My sister gave me a peg bag once. WTF? As if I ever hang the washing on a line - double WTF?! (We use a dryer) When she gave it to me she laughed and said it was 'gag gift' - yeah, sure - it was something she either grabbed as she went out the door, or a regift.

4. What do you miss most about being a kid?
~ The freedom and lack of responsibility. The optimism. (Now I'm a cynic, with the life experiences to back it up!)

5. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
~ The Stratosphere in Las Vegas was pretty hard. I visited in 2014 and did all 3 thrill rides at the top of their 900 ft tower. The rides send you off the tower so there is nothing between you and the ground below. Your brain tells you you'll be fine but your heart leaps out of your chest.

~ On a personal level telling a woman I was in love with that we had to break up because we were too young and I didn't want to get married (which I felt was where were headed) was really tough. On both of us. And a mistake on my part. (But then I would never have met my wife)

Bonus: What is something you learned in the last week?
~ That the US Political System is broken and we're all going to hell in a hand basket regardless of whether Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump is elected President.  Big Money Corporates/Lobby Groups are financing both candidates and will expect payback come November. Meanwhile many people are feeling quite disenfranchised and won't bother to vote. True democracy is dying, replaced by Special Interest Groups gaming the system to ensure their person is in office regardless.

Double Bonus: You missed last Sunday's post This porno got me off (TPGMO) ~ #02 which is a doozey! And tomorrow's post is rated XXX so come back for that too!

  1. 1. For true?!
    2. Sounds good.
    3. That is a strange gift especially if you don't use a clothes line. I suspect she meant for you to put a peg on some nipples--yours or your wife's. ;-)
    4. Yes, I feel the same.

Bonus: You are so right. Every presidential election (any election really) demonstrates how only the monied people get to be a part of the contest and main political arena. This election it is VERY evident. It is sickening. So much money wasted, and we still have nothing! Very scary times indeed.

As for the porn clip...see my comments on that post.

    1. 1. Every kid steals street signs, right? And it was only 3 cars!
      2. It was.
      3. There were no pegs in the peg bag when she gave it to me - it was bag to hold pegs! Whaaaaat?!
      4. Sadly, not voting for either of them is also not a viable option.
