OPP ~ #SoSS - blogs I love

This photo from May More © was submitted to #SinfulSunday but didn't win!
I'm stunned, it was the hottest pic I've seen all week! Find the original here

The #SoSS meme is a roundup of favourite blogs I’ve visited this week. In order not to duplicate what others have done for #SoSS (Share Our Shit Saturday) (or Sunday if you forget/run out of time) I’m going to give you links to some of their older stuff - because I think their complete blogs are worth reading. Click the links for the full stories, because these are just excerpts.

So here we go, in no particular order:

Brigit Delaney - 'Brigit Writes' ~ "What are you doing to keep me?"

I've only recently discovered Brigit but she's great. This is a post that struck a chord with me - because I'm a guy that sometimes wonders if my wife really 'gets' me at all sometimes. I'll be writing my own post on the issue Brigit has raised shortly:

My slowness to "get" things when it comes to our relationship is maddening for my husband, I know. I process the conversations we have at less than a snail's pace, but I like to believe that when I do finally "get" something...I really get it.

For example, all those years and years of late night conversations that ended simply and sadly with him saying, "I just want you to want me." And my infuriating response of, "But what does that look like?" It exasperated him. Because it's like I just forgot, somewhere along the way, how to love him in his language.
It took me too long to realize that desire and sex were related but not the same. It also took me too long to realize just how simple my husband's needs really were. It brings me to the question in the title post.... [continued]

Lascivious Lucy ~ "Alice Rolls the Dice"

I love Lucy's erotic fiction and she digs out some amazing vintage pornography to illustrate them. This is an excerpt from just one of her many stories:
Alice could feel how wet the command made her as she sauntered to the bar. She stood before it, and paused to pull the straps of the filmy dress down. The dress pooled around her feet. The emperor nodded in approval. Alice felt her nipples harden as she bent over the bar.
She looked back to watch the Emperor move behind her and pull his toga aside. His hard cock seemed to point at her. “You’re going to love this,” he said, and plunged his cock into her pussy. Alice gave a cry, loving his hands clutching at her hips. He continued to fuck her, pounding into her. Alice writhed beneath him and reached forward to knead her own breasts.

She heard him cry out and felt his cock twitch in orgasm. Her lips twisted in a pout as he pulled out before she had a chance to reach her own orgasm... [continued]

Morag - Morag's Moist Musings ~ "Thoughts on Foreplay"

This is another topic dear to my heart. I've been angsting about it a lot in recent months. Does she want more? Do I want more? Unfortunately every woman (and man) is different so Morag's is just one more opinion on the subject.
Women, we are constantly being told, want/expect/demand* (*delete as appropriate depending on your chosen woman’s magazine) more foreplay. There exists, so it would seem, a direct relationship between our enjoyment of sex and the quality/amount of foreplay we receive. Apparently we cannot have a fulfilling or satisfying sexual experience with out it.

Now all this seems a bit one-sided. “What about him?” I hear you cry, “Men enjoy foreplay too, you know.”

It’s true, men do enjoy foreplay. If I’m being honest, foreplay isn’t all about the “stuff” that’s being done to me. I love to turn my partners on; touching them, teasing them, sucking their cocks... [continued]
